Hello – I'm Natalie. I live in a Dallas, Texas suburb with my husband. We have one young adult daughter, and three bonus daughters (her lifelong besties) that keep things fun and interesting. We’re now officially empty nesters and are adapting to this exciting new phase of life.
I opened my company, Wayfinder Provisions while still working in IT Operations for the education space. I realized I craved creating personal connections with the people I was helping. That is when I made the leap into creating a gifting company. This year we expanded services to include travel advising— a lifelong dream of mine to connect people to the world around them and because, who doesn’t love creating unforgettable moments?
I little about me. When I need to unwind, I love getting in touch with nature—plants and animals bring me so much peace. I also enjoy baking and have been working my way through New York Times recipes. Over the past year, I’ve started dabbling in art, inspired by a creative women's non-profit where my studio/office is located. Being a bit of a foodie, I also love trying new food and wine, which helps me recharge, and sparks inspiration for new travel destinations. And honestly, nothing clears the mind like fresh air and a beautiful view!
One piece of advice I'd give to someone planning their dream vacation? Don’t over plan! I’m guilty of this, and through my own experience I’ve learned that when planning for a variety of personalities and multi-generational travelers, you need to leave space for varying needs and spontaneity because sometimes the best moments happen when you just go with the flow. Whether it's stumbling upon a local café or finding an unexpected sight, those unscripted moments often turn into the best memories.
What I love most about curating travel experiences and gifts for people. It’s like crafting little moments of magic. Whether it’s finding the perfect hidden gem for a traveler or creating a unique gift that surprises someone, I love knowing that what I do can bring joy, excitement, and even a little bit of adventure into someone’s life.
